Chris Rea's new tour is all about his new album Road Songs for Lovers, which will be released in September. In October, November and December he will perform in several countries. On Saturday October 7th he will perform in Carré.

Chris Rea, born in 1951 in Middlesbrough, released his debut album in 1978 and scored a hit with the first single Fool If You Think It's Over. In 1983, he sold more than half a million copies of his fifth studio album Water Sign, after I Can Hear Your Heartbeat became a major top 20 hit across Europe. Successor Wired To The Moon was also a great success and along with the tour that followed, he assured himself of a big fan base that is still there today.
