Julien Clerc will come to the Netherlands for four concerts as part of his Deux Pianos Tournee Des Cinquante Ans. The French singer will perform in Carré on May 6th. Ticket sales start on Friday 8 September, 10.00 am.
The charismatic Julien Clerc, born as Paul Leclerc, became famous in France because of a French version of the musical 'Hair' and had his first hit with 'Ce N'est Rien' in 1971. Shortly after that he also became famous in our country with hits like 'Si On Chantait' and 'This Melody', which even reached the number one position. In the years that followed he released several albums. He also continued to score hits with songs such as 'Ma Préférence', 'Jaloux de Tout', 'Command Comme Un Rêve d'Enfant' and 'Hélène'.
Clerc is still one of the largest and most popular chancesonniers France has ever produced. With this tour Julien Clerc celebrates his continued fifty-year success. The Tournee Des Cinquante Ans starts this fall and continues in 2018 with a concert series in a more intimate setting with two pianos on stage. This intimate concert series brings Julien Clerc to Carré.
