You can order tickets online at any time of the day via the Calendar.
The online payment options are iDeal, Visa/Mastercard and American Express credit card, PODIUM Gift Card and the Carré Voucher.
The booking costs for all transactions are €4.50. If you want us to send you the tickets by post, we will charge €1.75.

Monday to Friday 9.00 - 21.00 hrs
Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 – 20.00 hrs
The payment options in the case of telephone bookings are Visa/Mastercard and American Express credit card and bank transfer. For reservations from abroad you can call +31 (0)20 52 49 453 from Monday to Saturday from 12.00 to 18.00 hrs.
Monday to Sunday: 12.00 – 18.00 hrs (or until start of show).
In the case of shows/guided tours at the weekend, the booking office is open an hour and a half before the start of the show/guided tour. On Sundays and public holidays when no show is scheduled, the Carré booking office is closed.
The payment options at the booking office are by debit card, Cultuurkaart [Culture Card], Theater & Concertbon [Theatre and Concert Voucher], Visa/Mastercard and American Express credit card, PODIUM Cadeaukaart [PODIUM Gift Card], Carré Waardebon [Carré Voucher] and cash. We do not accept the Nationale Musicalbon [National Musical Voucher], VVV Cadeaubon/Irischeque [VVV voucher/Iris cheque].
Lost or forgotten entry tickets
If you have lost or forgotten your entry tickets, we will issue duplicate tickets (subject to approval and only as from one hour before the start of the show, upon presentation of a valid proof of identity). A one-off fee of €2.50 is charged for duplicate tickets The printing of your e-ticket is covered by this service, for which a one-off fee of €2.50 is charged.
In the event of illness or inability to attend
If you cannot use purchased tickets, you can exchange the tickets up to a maximum of one day before the show for a different show. A one-off fee of €2.50 is charged for this purpose. To arrange this, call 0900 25 25 255 (€0.45 per minute). Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 21:00 hrs, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00 hrs.
Photography and mobile telephony
It is not permitted to take photos during a show or make sound and/or video recordings without permission from the management of Koninklijk Theater Carré. The use of mobile telephones is also prohibited. You are urgently requested to switch off your mobile telephone.

Members of staff at Carré are authorised to search bags and coats, and to confiscate goods if they consider it to be necessary. You can leave your coat with a member of staff at the cloakroom free of charge. Audience members are required to provided proof of identity if requested.
For safety reasons, audience members are not permitted to bring large bags or backpacks to Carré. Handbags are permitted up to a maximum size of A4 format and 10cm thickness. Large bags may cause obstruction if the building has to be evacuated, and therefore may not be taken into the auditorium. Carré has insufficient space in the cloakroom to store large bags. You are therefore requested not to bring large bags or backpacks to the theatre.
Body searches may be conducted and handbags of approved format may be searched. We therefore advise you to arrive in good time for the start of the performance. Please remember to carry proof of identity. If a search is conducted, you will be required to show valid proof of identity (such as a passport, ID card or driving licence).
Royal Theatre Carré applies a dynamic pricing policy where this is desirable due to market circumstances. This means that prices may rise or fall in response to supply and demand. If the ticket price increases after you have made a reservation, you will be charged the price quoted at the time of reservation. Reservations expire after two weeks.
